These are 5 things that I have found that have helped me improve my mentality over the last year. Life can be hard and there is no denying that. These ideas have helped me grow and inspire me to wake up everyday. I've found that by employing these things, I am so much happier and I am able to walk away with a positive attitude even if it is hard. It's easy to feel lost after all, we are all living our life for the first time. You can either feel sad and be negative about it or you can decide to learn from it and keep growing. If I went back a year ago, I'd tell myself that I overcame the tough times. I'm reminded what my dad told me a long time ago "You can't control tomorrow and you don't even know if tomorrow will come. So be thankful you woke up today and live today. Worry about tomorrow when tomorrow comes." I've kept these words close and it has motivated me and improved my mentality. I ended up applying to the University of Arizona Masters Program in Marketing because I realized I was hungry to keep growing and learning. If there is anything you take away from this, it's this: You are capable of achieving everything you want and you are meant to enjoy life. Be unapologetically you.
